Illinois REALTORS® wrapped up its visit to Cannes, France, on Friday where members were taking part in the international MIPIM real estate conference.
Getting to France may seem daunting, but Marsha Collins-Mroz and Moses Hall said with advance planning it's possible to feel a lot more comfortable about making the cross-Atlantic journey. They shared tips on everything from booking flights early to what to do in case of a medical emergency.
This is the fourth in a series of podcasts produced by Illinois REALTORS® where members discuss the value of attending a conference that annually attracts more than 26,000 people.

Illinois REALTOR® Maurice Hampton has attended all five years of the conference with the association, and he admits that it was overwhelming at first.
"People always say the first time they attend that it is so overwhelming," Hampton said. "That is the truth to the truth to the truth. ... When you get inside the Palais you realize just how important this conference is toi a lot of the real estate world."
Hampton discusses his tips for making the most of the experience, and how to get the most networking possible done during the four-day event.
